Countdown Clock Educational Resources
These resources are great for use when teaching time on an interactive Smart white board, and great for school time games!
Timers that count downwards can be used for more than just teaching time in school. Infact, these interactive countdown clocks resources can be used in your teaching for almost any lesson, simply as an educational timer, or as an interactive resource for a vocabulary-based starter.
- Countdown Clock - Choose from 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds for this fun countdown clock! New: Here's the latest style of the clock!
- Countdown Clock & letters - As above, but with the addition of choosing consonants and vowels to make words within the given time limit. Points could be awarded for the biggest word made, or simply, the most words made. (hint, choose at least three vowels!) And here's the new style!
- Countdown Clock & letters (q,x,z not included) - As above, but as lower-ability pupils often find it difficult to make words using these letters, so here's the same resource, but with them removed. Latest countdown clock style here.
- Countdown Clock & Countdown Conundrum - Type a word in the box (up to nine letters) and click set. This will jumble the letters up, for the pupils to unscramble against the clock. When the word is correctly determined, press reveal to show the word on the screen. Latest style of the conundrum and clock.
